can i enter transmission application in same workspace as a transfer

Hi @carmelbarrett4557,

Currently, PEXA does not support lodging a Transmission in combination with a Transfer. In such cases, you would need to lodge and register the Transmission first, and then lodge a Transfer via a separate Workspace. 

We are currently reviewing this functionality for further enhancement and will let you know once lodgement of a Transmission in combination with a Transfer in a single workspace is possible.

Hi Carmel. 

If you operate in NSW, PEXA has made the enhancement that allows a Transmission followed by Transfer in the same PEXA workspace.

Hi Nick. 

Whilst PEXA has made the change to accommodate these documents in combination, the VIC Land Registry still have some business logic which prevents it. 

Their opinion is that Survivorship / Transmission is easy to lodge in PEXA and their Registration process is quick, so the wait time to create the Transfer workspace is minimal. 

I will check in with them again for an update and get back to you shortly.

Hi,  if a transfer workspace is created before the transmission is registered, will the new proprietor details come through to the transfer workspace once the transmission is registered, or do we have to wait for the transmission to be registered before creating the transfer workspace?

Hi @TaniaB 

You can create the workspace prior to the transmission registration.

Once it is registered you will need to perform a Land Title Resupply to update the details in the workspace.
