we act for the vendor, and now is trying to put vendor's account details for the vendor's funds. However, under "account name", there is not enough space for us to put the full account names (we have two vendors and both have middle names). Also for "transaction description", there is no enough space either to put the property address. Could you please let us know whether it can be fixed urgently, as the settlement is due next Monday.
The Account Name and Transaction Description are only required as references. The account name does not need to include middle names for example, if that helps fit in both your clients, it is fine to leave them out.
Also, the transaction description does not need to be the property address, it is just what will appear on the client's bank statement, so as long as they can recognise the transaction, all is well.
The main concern is ensuring that the BSB and Account Number are correct.
