Java technology timelines:
- No longer supported in the Google Chrome browser
- Mozilla’s java support will be decommissioned by end of 2016.
- Oracle will deprecate java applet technology with Java 9 release in March 2017.
- Presumably, Oracle will remove java technology with Java 10 release. (Some date in 2018)
