In NSW, SA, and QLD, additional terms and conditions can now be uploaded in PDF format to the Files screen and then attached to a National Mortgage (as of Release 7 - Nov 6 2017). The National Mortgage document supports free text terms and conditions up to 4000 characters and PDF file attachments for more detailed or bespoke terms and conditions.
Create National Mortgage in NSW, SA, or QLD.
Indicate the intent to attach Terms and Conditions by ticking the checkbox (if not referencing a Document Reference, please note it is a requirement that you include text e.g. “Refer to attached annexure”).
Using the Files tab, upload the PDF attachment of Terms and Conditions. This can be accessed via the task “Attach Terms and Conditions to Mortgage” or by clicking on the Files link in the left-hand navigation.
Click the Upload file button to upload and attach the Terms and Conditions to the National Mortgage.
Click the Browsefile button to select a PDF file from file system.
Then select Terms and Conditions as the correct File Description. Click Upload.
Note: Only PDF files set as Terms and Conditions can be attached to the National Mortgage.
Once the file has been successfully uploaded, click the action cog next to the file and select Attach.
Select the correct National Mortgage Document you wish to attach the Terms and Conditions to and click Attach.
Confirmation that the file has successfully been attached to the National Mortgage will appear.
The Documents screen now shows that the National Mortgage has an attachment, and that attachment can be viewed by clicking the file name link in the Attachments panel.
Sign and submit for Lodgement in the usual manner.
