Follow the steps below to create a standalone discharge of mortgage as a panel member.
There are 5 general steps for completing a discharge of mortgage. Notice that the PEXA process is the same up until Step 4. At this point, different states require different supporting documents.
Creating a Workspace in the role of Mortgage on Title
Complete the screen as applicable:
Check the Land Titles
Create your Discharge of Mortgage Document
Review Lodgement Instructions
Verification is now automatically carried out between PEXA and the Land Registry.
PEXA will automatically refresh once information is received from the Land Registry and the Document and the status will move to Prepared and Successful.
View and Sign Documents
Submit your mortgage with the Land Registry
At lodgement your document will be date and time stamped (local time) and a Dealing Number will be issued for the Mortgage. Click anywhere on the document panel to view the Dealing Number.
