Overview
The Form 24 is used to inform the Land Registry (LR) of details of the purchase of land, and is then sent by the Land Registry to the Office of State Revenue (OSR) to update its records and levy any land tax due.
Form 24 Part A and Form 24 Part B are documents that support the lodgement of a Transfer of Land in the jurisdiction of QLD.
The participant in the role of Proprietor on Title (representing the seller) completes the Form 24 Part B.
Steps
Prerequisite:
- You have created a Transfer. document.
Both Form 24 Part A and Form 24 Part B are generated automatically in the Workspace following the creation of the Transfer document. Information is pre-populated with data from the Transfer document.
- You are in the role of Incoming Proprietor (representing the buyer). If not, you may Add or Switch roles now.
Steps:
- Navigate to the Document screen.
- From the Actions column, select Edit to open Form 24A.
- Review the Property details.

- Review the Transferee Details.
- Enter a Name of Trust if applicable.
- Enter the Date of possession.

- Save the changes.
QLD Form 24 A and Form 24 B: Viewing and Printing
Once Form 24 is saved and complete, you can View the document via the View button on the Actions column on the Documents screen.
The View option displays the rendered version.
