Overview


A Notification is an alert informing you of changes in a Workspace. PEXA has automatic checks to ensure that you are kept up-to-date with any changes to a Workspace. You can view Notifications in PEXA via by opening your Workspace Summary screen and clicking Notifications in the left hand navigation panel.

The Notifications screen lists all alerts for a Workspace. There are three types of Notifications:

  • Information: Provides notification of tasks, activities or conversations happening in your PEXA Workspaces. Includes date and time of the notification. For example: Flinders Bank has invited you to participate in a PEXA Workspace. 
  • Warning: Notification of a change in the system that may impact your Workspace and your ability to lodge your documents. For example: Financial Settlement Date and/ or time has been updated.
  • Error: The transaction cannot continue unless you intervene to correct the error on screen. For example: Settlement has failed due to technical or process error.

Notifications alert you to:

  • Changes in Workspace data
  • Changes in a Document
  • Changes in Lodgement Verification
  • Changes in a Workspace status

 

Notification emails

A Notification email is sent to all the participants in a Workspace for selected notifications in PEXA.

The email address used to receive these notifications is entered and maintained by your Subscriber Administrator.

Is there a reason why 'warnings' and 'errors' that 'have been resolved' seem remain in the notifications area? Their remaining persistence once being rectified is a bit confusing.

Things like 'Transfer Duty could not be verified' seem to remain there as requiring attention but has been fixed hours ago...

@DMc I have confirmation from our Support team that this is a known defect. Unfortunately we don't have any dates for the fix, but we have updated the ticket so you will be notified once it is released.

It would be great with the email Notifications if we could individually tailor them to users needs. Eg. I would love to get an email when another party has accepted the proposed settlement date as this effects my ability to certify to my bank client. Other uses may not like this therefore it would be great if we had the ability to tailor our own.

Hi @Caz_at_Astills,

Giving you the ability to tailor the notifications you receive is on our 'to do' list. I'm hoping we can deliver it later this year.

Also, we currently send a 'Settlement date and time accepted by all participants' notification to the banks in a workspace. But we plan to enhancement this notification to also send it to any law firms in the role of IM or MoT.

Everything is prepared in the workspace but it is still showing in preparation, I can't work out why it is not in prepared status, settlement is in a couple of hours, PEXA has not loaded the fees and the outgoing mortgagee has not put in an amount but all documents are prepared

Not sure if you meant to post your query under this 'Notifications' post..?

 

But Community has a handy search feature, which really helps find answers in the context of my query.

When I'm not sure how to ask or which word to use relating to what I'm looking for, I find the browse by topic with reference guides super handy too!
