From a record keeping and risk managerment perspective, it would be great if at the end of a matter we could have the option to export all relevant material from PEXA in a single PDF document which could then be saved to our document management system (i.e. copies of all land registry documents, trust account statement, conversations, financial settlement schedule, authorisation record, history etc.) Having all of this information converted into a single document would save our staff alot of time as we wouldn’t need to save each separately.

This would really help contribute to the efficiency that PEXA can provide and make it really easy for our document management in our firm system!

So if I understand correctly, you would like a file that contains all of the information currently contained in a PEXA Workspace, including financial information, documents, conversations, and history details?
Currently, all of this information is retained in your PEXA workspace. These successful workspaces are visible via the Completed workspaces view. Hence, all of the information you mentioned is available in an electronic format.
With this in mind, I'm thinking there could be a better way to provide this information than a large PDF file? Do you have any other computer software solutions that provide a solution other than a PDF file?
I'll speak to our product management team and we'll investigate a bit further. For document management purposes, I completely understand the requirement.
Thanks again for the valuable feedback,

Totally agree @ErinDM, this would be a huge benefit for most, if not all big firms out there!

Thanks for your reply. Yes for record keeping purposes it would be good to have a single file containing all relevant PEXA workspace information that we could save to the matter in the document management system. This would also help when we audit files etc as all relevant information is contained in the one place (rather than having to login into PEXA and do a search to retrieve the information etc.) PDF is easy to open but if it had to be another file type that could possibly work too. Look forward to hearing if this is able to be developed.

Just adding my vote that this is a good idea - for storage efficiencies I think law firms would need flexibility around which workspace content to include in the PDF file...it might not be a one size fits all and we'd need some different approaches depending on the transaction approach.

I also think this is an excellent idea. We are a large law firm and it would greatly assist our PEXA users to meet our internal policy requirements in terms of saving copies of documents lodged, financial settlement statements and key conversations. It would particularly assist in the PEXA Projects space, when we need to save copies of items across a large number of workspaces settling at the same time.

We are able to do this with our Setts plus integration and yes it saves a lot of time. just saying

Is there any proposal to be able to download a copy of the document which has been lodged for our file? I know you can right click when viewing the document and print but the print version is not very good and I also know you can take a screen shot and save it. But either way doesn't indicate that it is a version that has been lodged. We would like to keep a record of what we have lodged and also a formal record of the date and time on our electronic file. I know PEXA stores this information but it would be useful if it was able to be downloaded and saved to our electronic files so it is all in the one place. Is this something that can be done or can be suggested?
