Having inadvertently issued eCT title instead of paper title, as I usually would have, it appears there is no notification or evidence provided by either Land Vic (as advised over the phone as eCT is not their issue) or PEXA, of the registration of title into our incoming proprietors name, and therefore to provide satisfactory evidence to our client.
PEXA advised to either do a title search (further cost) or use the lodgement advice in PEXA does not show any proprietor name and only has the vol/fol to indicate the property so this is useless as evidence of actual registration to a client.
It would be handy to have notification (such as the email received from DELWP when you nominated paper title to eCT) giving a copy of the title registered in the incoming proprietors name, which we may then pass onto our client. Hope this can be achieved in the near future.
In the meantime, I will have all titles issued paper.

Hi @LauraBurke,
Land Use Victoria introduced Registration Confirmation Statements (RCS) in 2016 to inform lodging parties details of registration of the transaction. It will only be provided by email to the eCT Control and the lodging party, if different from the eCT Control. The email will be sent to the email address(es) retained by Land Victoria in VOTS. The RCS was communicated to industry in our Customer Information Bulletin 160 (refer to the link provided below). If an RCS has not been received please contact our office and convey this information.
Regards
Mark

Thank you Mark for following this up and providing the email with the copy title noting our client as the registered proprietor.
Always learning with the new system!
Cheers
