Currently the PEXA notification for a new conversation is just that a message has been received in the work space.
Is there any chance the message could also be included in this email notification? Then we wouldn't have to login to see what the message says, especially if it is something we need to action immediately or not.

Hi @LG,
A great suggestion. We've heard this feedback a few times. Unfortunately email isn’t a secure channel, therefore we can’t include the contents of conversation messages as these often contain private information such as customer names, addresses, loan account numbers etc.
We have introduced an ‘Unread Conversations’ dashboard to reduce the need to go into workspaces to read conversation messages. This should make it easier to access and manage workspace conversations.
In terms of future enhancements, we are looking at including a standard set of conversation subjects and messages (eg “please provide payout figure”) which we will be able to include in email notifications as we will know no private information is included.
Thanks,
Marty

Hi @Marty
One of our main issues has to do with knowing when we can edit and sign the lodgement instructions in a financial settlement.
For instance, as the incoming mortgagee in a refi we can only edit and sign the lodgement instructions after the discharge document has been created. There are no notifications regarding this though. If content can't go in a conversation can there be a notification advising the document that has been created in the workspace? i.e. "Discharge document has been created" or "Mortgage document has been created"?

@Hi @LG,
We do have a "Sign Documents" task that appears in the workspace if all the current participants have each created a document and there are no pending invitations. It is assumed that at this point all the docs that will be created, have been, and therefore the Lodgement Instructions, as well as the other documents, can be signed with minimal risk of them being unsigned.
However, we don't have an email notification attached to this task / scenario. We'll have a look into this, but we're hesitant to add to the already large number of email notifications that PEXA sends out.
Another thing to keep in mind is that we are investigating the feasibility of only requiring the Responsible Subscriber sign the Lodgement Instructions. For anyone that isn't the Responsible Subscriber, this would remove the need to wait for others to create their docs before signing. But there is still a long way to go on this one.
Thanks,
Marty

Thanks @Marty, that all sounds good! I think being able to see the subject of the conversation would be really great

Hi @Marty
Do you know if the unread conversations dashboard could have a column for the workgroup that the workspace belongs to?
Having that as a filter would be useful for groups who belong to multiple teams.
