When adding a Destination Financial Line item and paying funds via bank transfer you need to complete a field labelled 'Transaction Description'. This field has a note/message next to it advising "This will appear on your account statement".
I believe that the Transaction Description field is required to contain the reference for the recipient of the destination funds so that when the funds get to the destination account the recipient knows what reference it is for. Subscribers of PEXA may get confused with this note and put in their reference as this is what it infers.
Can I please make a suggestion that the note/message next to the Transaction Description field reads something like................"description to appear on the recipient’s account"..........................to avoid this confusion.

As part of Release 6.1.1, we've made a quick change to the help text for the Transaction Description field to display as "This will appear on the destination account statement". This aligns it with the existing message when other categories are selected (e.g. Vendor's Funds).
It's been updated for the following destination categories when Bank Transfer is selected:
