I have had a number of practitioners lately ask if they can complete a linked settlement where they are not acting in the other transaction. This is particularly the case with clients who sell a property in one State (e.g. NSW) and purchase in another State (e.g. VIC).
I know at this point in time we are unable to complete a linked settlement where the same subscriber is not acting in both the sale and the purchase, but would there be scope for this in the future, as I see it coming up more frequently.

Hi @MeganTenn
Yes, great discussion.
We have heard these points before and it is definitely something we would like to investigate further. It's a larger piece of work, especially around linked settlements, workspaces across jurisdictions, and the requirement to participate in both of the linked workspaces . That being said, we'd definitely like to look into ways to make this possible.
Please let us know of any further ideas around this, and I'll be in touch with the product owners to see what is possible.
Thanks
Brett
