Hi,
In NSW, for a property settlement, both the purchaser and vendor have to authorise the agent to release the deposit after settlement.
PEXA now allows a Vendor to have an email sent from PEXA to the agent - which is great.
It would be fantastic if PEXA enabled a Purchaser's solicitor/conveyancer to also email the agent. This could then take away the need for the parties to attend to authorising the agent after settlement.
Thanks,
Jonathan

Hi again Jonathan,
Thanks for your second suggestion. There was a similar discussion regarding agent notifications in NSW here.
I will also champion this suggestion on your behalf. A reminder of the process:
Would this benefit others? I encourage your peers here in community to let PEXA know if this is important to you too. You can do this by liking or adding a comment by clicking 'reply'.

This is a great idea. Is it possible to see a template of the email currently sent to the Agent and also allow for an additional email address to be added for when Agent's work in conjunction which happens regularly?

Could Pexa - install sms messaging (in dashboard) to notify the Agent, Vendor & Purchaser - nos only visable to the representing Practitioner and Conveyancers notifying the property has settled?

It would be fantastic if the incoming proprietor could also input an email address for a real estate agent notification. It is quiet common for a conjunctional real estate agent to be involved in a transaction.

Further to the request for order on the agent to be added to PEXA we have had feedback from our agents in the area that this is essential for them if practitioners are promoting settleme and the purchaser is sitting in their office with their settleme app and they have not received the order on the agent. They are very concerned that they will have an anxious purchaser as a result of those two things not working in conjunction.

I have noticed that the ability to email the agent is with the representative that created the workspace - sometimes the incomming party representative creates the workspace - then only they have the ability to email agent and not the proprietor on title's representative (ie - as the Vendors representative - we need to be able to put in the Agents email) PEXA should look into having the ability for both representatives to put in an email address (or just the proprietor on title)
