The feedback I have received on the new workspace file upload portal has been great and really positive.
A few practitioners have asked about the category options when uploading files into a workspace, as some of the categories aren't relevant here in WA. Perhaps state specific categories could be looked into?
For example
I have seen practitioners utilising the file upload portal to upload their vendors settlement statement in order to show the Mortgagee on Title the exact full proceeds figure to collect at settlement - however this doesn't fit into any of the current categories, so they selected "Statement of Adjustments" which was the closest fit.
@Lhyde8279 you have used the file upload portal on quite a few occasions, what do you think of the above and do you have any other suggestions or comments?

I have used the file upload section several times now and it has been great. Upload the clients signed discharge request and then send the bank a conversation so they know it is there. No more saying the fax wasn't received. I have also been uploading the statements so the banks have the amount required to complete settlement or the amount I have available for settlement and best of all it is saved in the work space.

Thanks @Lhyde8279 for the great feedback. Can you think of any other items that you might want to upload in future that don't fit into any of the current categories?

Hello, I would hope in the future we might be able to upload nearly everything. Authority forms for the bank to collect full proceeds if their instructions don't show this, our statements to the other agent. We could even upload our CAF etc. and then they are all stored in one place.

Wow, I couldn't have imagined how convenient this feature would be to the network!
It would be great to be able to upload any relevant documents that provides other participants the required visibility to complete a task. However we must also be cautious that a sudden bombardment of uploaded documents doesn't make it hard to locate and find the right information. I think this discussion should directly be addressed by the product development team.
@KrystleKocik what is in the product pipeline for other document types?
And so that we don't loose the thought - definitely the document types can and should be filtered by jurisdiction to cut some noise and confusion.

Hi All!
Great feedback thank you! We will be doing a modification so that document descriptions will be shown that are specific to your jurisdiction only. We are targeting Release 6.1 (July) for this change. Adding new document descriptions to the list is very easy for us. @Lhyde8279 - in your previous post you mentioned Authority forms for the banks - are there specific documents names that you could please provide? I'll start investigating these as soon as you let me know.
Thanks!

Hi Krystle,
I am not sure of the exact name of the document but it is when the bank need a signed authority from the Buyer to take the surplus funds required to complete settlement from their bank account.
