Here's a few suggestions for improved usability to the Dashboard view. Apologies if these have been mentioned elsewhere.
Persistent Workspace sort order
This should have been a no-brainer, but why isn't the workspace sort order persistent over a session, or even permanently persist per user?
For example, I may want to sort my workspaces by settlement date by clicking the heading, but if I go into any workspace and come back out to the dashboard, the workspace order defaults back to 'most recently used'. Similarly, I may want to just sort by workspace reference or some other column at different times.
The sort order should persist so that if I'm going in and out of multiple workspaces, I shouldn't have to waste clicks to re-sort, and possible go to other pages just to go to a workspace that was previously the next line down.
Using MRU as the default sort order may be an acceptable compromise to begin with, but we should at least have the choice to customise the view to make it more efficient for whatever we are doing without it defaulting back every time.
On a side note, there also appears to be a glitch in this system as I went through about two dozen workspaces the other day and the MRU was all over the place, not necessarily appearing at the top of the list, but somewhere down the middle. I'm happy to discuss this somewhere else.
Customisable columns
I realise this request has been made before, and been rejected on the basis of trying to keep the interface relatively uncluttered. However, again it should really be a customisable option. For example, those practitioners who would practice exclusively in a single jurisdiction may find that particular column redundant. This may open up space for other columns such as 'workgroup', 'other side', 'incoming mortgagee/mortgagee on title', etc., which may be more useful. I'm sure others will come up with requests for other possible columns.
If the objective is to avoid information overload, it may be an option to limit the number of columns that can be used at any one time, with possibly the capability to dynamically resize certain columns, such as 'subscriber reference', to reduce unnecessary whitespace.
Viewing more workspaces
This is an option in Projects, so it shouldn't be so hard to implement in Core.
Having a dropdown box or even just simple links at the bottom of the page to change how many workspaces can be seen in the list at once would be remarkably helpful, and reduce the amount of page flipping to find workspaces. Basic '10, 20, 40, 100, All' options would be a good start.
Also, where there is pagination of the workspaces list, it may be more useful to show the actual number of pages rather than bury it under an ellipsis, as it makes navigating to pages unnecessarily complicated. It might also be worthwhile moving or duplicating this control to the top of the list, where the 'clear filters' button currently lives, and either moving that button somewhere else, or otherwise hiding it until there is actually a filter being applied.
Look forward to seeing these in the next release!

Great ideas, @LXWill
I've suggested something similar in the past. It would be great to see these ideas looked at a bit more closely and hopefully see a few of them in subsequent PEXA releases.

Great suggestions - it would also be useful to add in the Settlement Date & Time column on the dashboard, whether all participants have accepted the settlement date/time or if this is pending.
This would be great from an efficiency point of view and you would have a great snapshot on which matters may have issues with settlement and need greater focus.

Bump - any Administrators listening?????
Persistent workspace in settlement date order is a no brainer!!
Can we also have a red dot on Dashboard when we have new/unread conversations (same as new Invitations).
There is a red dot in each Workspace that has new/unread conversations but not on Dashboard.

Hi @MarcusLiley
You might find using the new PEXA Plus Dashboard meets your requirements in terms of accessing settlements in date order. This view is designed to help parties determine the most pressing tasks and settlements.
You can access this via: plus.pexa.com.au or via the Single sign on in your PEXA Dashboard (the set of 9 small squares in the top right hand corner).
Further information can be found here: https://community.pexa.com.au/t5/Frequently-Asked-Questions/Introducing-PEXA-Plus/ba-p/7205
We are continuing to expand out this offering, so please feel free to provide feedback within PEXA Plus.
Thanks
Angella

Thanks for responding @AngellaC
Not a big fan of the PEXA Plus Dashboard for the reasons outlined in my comment of 29/03/18 in the discussion your provided link to.
Doesn't look as though much has changed since March

Marcus

Hi @LXWill,
Thank you for the feedback!!
Persistent Workspace sort order
This is currently being worked on and we hope to have to feature available in the near future. We will look the issue you have raised.
Customisable columns
This idea has not been rejected but due to other priority of work, this is still sitting in our backlog. The work involved is not simple, therefore it does require time.
Viewing more workspaces
PEXA Projects and PEXA Core are built quite differently therefore it's not a simple implementation but we are looking at ways to improve this so again thank you for your feedback.
Kind regards,
Beck
