Hi I was wondering what the chances are of having the ability to upload documents, for example a discharge form directly into the workspace.
This would serve a couple of purposes:
1 ensure that the document is available to the workspace participant
2 save time in having to switch between programs to send informaiton.
Just a thought
have a great day

Now that would be awesome Christine and I completely agree with that thought. It is inconvenient to keep switching between applications to get the work done and to keep faxing/emailing copies over and over again.
Your thought has a big thumbs up from me and I would like to hear if you have more to share on this. Discharge Authority is one definite example, however based on your experience,

We could also upload statements to banks and other settlement agents would probably see them not required after settlement as long as there was a way of saving the attachments.

Thanks for sharing more details. I still believe that this is a great idea and I will share your idea with a relevant product owner.
We value your contribution, so keep contributing and help us improve your experience with PEXA.

I have a wonderful news to share with you, I am not sure if you have already noticed, but PEXA now has a capability to upload documents from within your Workspace. See the release notes here.
Do let us know your experience in using this feature, it is the very first version of this capability and we want your feedback to make it work for you.

thanks for the news regarding the upload of document which i have used.
I was just wondering if it would be possible to have an additional action after upload to share once a participant accepts an invitation or even at any stage so we can change who we share with?

It is an awesome feature isn't it? I am glad you are already using it, in fact we did see a high usage within the first week of the feature release.
Sharing is critical and could be a sensitive issue when it comes to documents. The reason I delayed writing this response is because I want you get the most accurate picture of our planned enhancements to the file upload feature.
So what is there today for sharing files in the first version of file upload feature?
1. You can keep the document private i.e. only you will see that document or
2. you may decide to share it as public i.e. any participant existing or future in the workspace will be able to see the public documents or
3. You could make it private and only share it with selected participants in the workspace (they must already be participating in the workspace)
You can get a good overview of existing features from this link.
What is planned for sharing in the upcoming enhancements that the teams here are working hard on
1. Possibly (because we need to understand how you and other users would like to use this feature) allow users to share documents with potential participants i.e. who have been invited to participate in the workspace but have not yet accepted the invite.
2. Some more scenarios around sharing documents are being discussed but are not yet in the teams todo list, so I will hold on to those ideas floating around for now.
In short yes you can share documents today with participants automatically when they accept an Invite to join the Workspace if you had selected All workspace participants sharing option on the document upload pop up. Please let me know if that answers your question.
And also feel free to share with us if there is a way that you would like the sharing of documents to work, I would love to pass that on to the product owners here.

In addition to Arun's comments, I just wanted to confirm with you that the ability to edit share settings after upload will be available from 8th May
Thanks for your feedback!
