As I write this our Victorian members are enduring their sixth lockdown and the resilience demonstrated has been inspiring to say the least. Whilst the virtual world is starting to feel like ‘business as usual’ it’s important to maintain our mental health in these trying times.
I joined PEXA in June of this year and have spent more time meeting our members through my webcam than I’d like. Prior to my time at PEXA I worked as a real estate agent in the south-east suburbs witnessing the impact of our 2020 lockdowns first-hand. Adapting to the virtual world was challenging and the concept of selling a house to someone whop hadn’t walked through it seemed to go against all sense and logic – yet here we are again!
Here at PEXA we’re doing all that we can to ensure you are getting the support you need virtually, and we want to be able to help when it’s most needed. Be sure to look at our wellness hub which you can find online at wellness.pexa.com.au. In there you can find resources for everything from cooking masterclasses to techniques to help strengthen your mind, body, and soul. You’ll also find a directory of our favourite well-being experts that you can reach out to.
Seeing 80% of eligible Victorians receive their first vaccination has resulted in some additional freedoms which I’m sure will be welcomed by us all. With the easing of specific restrictions around property inspections we expect to see more transactions in the coming months. As things start to get busier don’t hesitate to continue to rely on your PEXA Partner or our support team.
Looking to the future it can be tough to say how and when we will be able to revisit you in-person, but rest assured we are very much looking forward to being out on the road and meeting you in a safe manner once the time is right. For now, feel free to pick up the phone and give your PEXA Partner a call, even just to say hello, as a little sense of normal is always welcome in challenging times like these.
