APIs allow two or more applications to speak to each other – and unknown to most of us we use them every day. That’s how we can easily login to a new online account using Facebook details or access the weather on our mobile devices – this is all powered by APIs in the background.
Close to 30 organisations across Australia use PEXA APIs to connect their systems directly to the PEXA platform, providing a multi-faceted user journey for industry members. Many of our members may have this already through practice management software or internal workflow systems.
Recently, search provider triSearch integrated with PEXA, using our APIs to enhance their customer experience. TriSearch provides lawyers and conveyancers nationally with access to more than 4,500 property searches and certificates.
Using PEXA’s API means that at the click of a button, users can launch PEXA from within triSearch.
Property and party details automatically populate into PEXA once the Workspace is opened within triSearch. Practitioners benefit from added time savings and a reduction in human error caused by the manual re-keying of data.
