General FAQs PEXA Key

 

does the settlement date and time show once fully confirmed or as soon as proposed? 

The settlement date appears as soon as the client registers into the app, and the time will show as "after XX time".  The client won't receive confirmation of time until the settlement has started.

if settlement rolls to the next day do clients have to re-enter everything?

No, the client will simply see the new settlement date and time once it has been entered into the workspace. They will not need to resend bank details if they have already done so. 

can you share documents via pexa key or just request bank details?

No, at this stage you can only request bank details and share trust/source account details.

when settlement has completed, does the client have to delete the app?

No, they do not need to delete the app but they can if they wish to.

can the client share anything from the app to social media?

Yes, clients are able to share a screenshot of the settlement date, and the house illustration or settlement illustration. This will not share any personal/confidential information such as email address, phone number or property address. 

is there a way to remove a settled property from the app?

Not at the moment but we’re looking at this and would like to get it in the app sometime soon.

Do we get an alert once the client completes their details?

It will be displayed in the Financial Settlement screen. We’re working on getting an update or notification for you to see it’s been completed.

what if a client changes their phone during settlement?

A clients registration is based on the clients email and mobile number. If this remains the same then they will be able to use any android or iOS device to use PEXA Key.

Client has multiple properties and receives several PEXA Key invites.

Q: How are they supposed to know which invite aligns with which property address?
