New button to switch between roles

You told us that you wanted an easy way to switch between roles when you are representing both sides of a transaction. We’ve introduced a Switch button that allows you to easily switch between roles in a Workspace. You still need to add the additional role via Workspace Settings but once you have done that, simply click Switch to switch back and forth as required.

Notes:

  • The Switch functionality is not available to Financial Institutions.
  • The Switch functionality is available only if you have defined two roles in the Workspace. If you have more than two roles, or if you have only one role in the Workspace then this functionality is not available.

For details on how to use the Switch role functionality, refer to the Community article.

New Destination Funds category

Principal Non-FIs can benefit from a new destination BPAY category that enables them to make BPAY payments without the need to associate it with any subscriber. This allows for BPAY payment details to remain discreet in a transaction where an associated subscriber is not required to sign off on.

The new category, Other (BPAY), is accessible to users in the role of Caveator on Title. When this option is selected, the user is only required to enter the BPAY payment details, which won't be shared to other parties in the Workspace.

Reduced number of clicks to action a task

UPDATE: This feature has been deferred to a later release.

We are taking measures to reduce the number of clicks you need to do to complete a tasks or activities in PEXA.

Updated message for Change of settlement date/time

We have updated the onscreen message when the settlement date and/or time is changed to clearly advise the user that the reason they provide will be sent to all Workspace participants via a conversation message in PEXA.

Persistent filters and Smart Search capabilities extended to Financial institutions

Smart Search and Persistent Filter capabilities that are currently available to all practitioners will be rolled out to the financial institutions as part of the R10.1.1 release.

Smart Search

We’ve improved the search tool to help you find your Workspaces quicker! Smart Search will give you suggestions as you type your search term. Click on a suggestion followed by the Search icon and PEXA will take you straight to your Workspace.

Persistent Filters

To save time and increase productivity, the filters you apply to your Active Workspaces dashboard will be retained. This allows you to navigate away from the dashboard or log out of PEXA and then return and quickly pick up where you left off.

New alert banner when signing Lodgement Instructions

While signing the Lodgement Instructions, if there are Mortgages or Caveats on title in the Workspace, and there is no associated Discharge of Mortgage or Withdrawal of Caveat, a banner will display within the Lodgement Instructions panel on the signing page. This banner advises the user to review any existing claims or encumbrances on title before proceeding. It is an informative message only and will not prevent users from signing.

Hi Cory.

NSW Notice of Death is close. Its now looking like late February next year.

Sorry that it has been deferred previously.

As mentioned on other posts, PEXA has built the changes but cannot activate it until our stakeholders are in a position to receive them for lodgement.

We will keep you informed closer to it's release date.

I too would like to have Notices of Death activated ASAP Smiley Happy

Regards,

Travis Sullivan

Hi @helenj,

The Switch function was originally available to all our subscribers however our Financial Institutions preferred not to have this function available.

Thanks,
Beck
