When accepting a participation request, Mortgagees on Title will see a new message on the Participation Request screen:
IMPORTANT: If your MOT client is not a Panel Master, please ensure they are listed as a Frequently Represented Party (FRP) by your PEXA Administrator. The FRP must match the name on title EXACTLY and be set up PRIOR to accepting this PR.
The 'client' in this instance refers to the Mortgagee on Title.
To quickly identify if a Workspace is linked to a matter in PEXA Project, we’ve added a new Workspace summary item – PEXA Projects – to the Workspace Summary screen.
The PEXA Project summary shows the name of the project to which the Workspace belongs and is displayed only if the current Workspace is linked to a matter in PEXA Project. Users in the role of Mortgagee on Title or Proprietor on Title can click on the summary link and they’ll be redirected to the project Dashboard in PEXA Project.
The QLD Mortgage and Discharge of Mortgage documents have been updated to allow mortgagees to act in capacity.
Mortgagees who are acting in capacity will have the capacity displayed next to their name on the Participants screen. The party capacity will also be displayed on the rendered Discharge of Mortgage (for Mortgagee on Title) or Mortgage (for Incoming Mortgagee) document.
For a Mortgagee on Title party, the party capacity is obtained from RIS (where applicable) and the following Party Capacities are supported:
Statutory Trustee For Sale
Trustee For Sale
For an Incoming Mortgagee party, a party capacity can be added, via a dropdown selection, to the party upon Create or Edit of the party. The following Party Capacities are supported:
As of 25 May 2020, paper documents that don’t have a Real Property Act Land Title Reference or where the Land Title is not valid for electronic lodgement in the PEXA Platform, can be lodged through the PEXA Platform using a prescribed Title Reference, as part of the NSW COVID-19 Residual Lodgement* solution. From 15 June 2020, the "Miscellaneous Document" will be added to this functionality.
