Release of residual documents (NSW & SA)

We’re releasing Residual documents to NSW and SA subscribers. Residual documents in PEXA are a large collection of infrequently lodged registry documents that previously had to be lodged in paper. To address this, we’ve digitised these documents and categorised them as Other Documents in PEXA.

From this release, the following residual documents are now available:

NSW

Note: In NSW, these residual documents will now replace the Temporary COVID-19 Residuals made available earlier this year.

Hi Team,

With the Release of Residual Documents (NSW & SA) change, just want to confirm if this is purely just moving those documents to 'Other Documents' from where they currently are and there is no changes to existing processes specifically for Change of Name?

Good afternoon Team

Do you have an ETA for the confirmation of the SA Residual Documents scope?

Hi @kennedsh,

These documents will remain in Other Documents and replace respective Temporary COVID-19 Residuals. What this means is that instead of just an attachment of the Dealing and an Affirmation Statement, NSWLRS can now collect the information for the registration they require within the lodgement including any specific attachments.

More details will be shared by NSWLRS shortly, I will provide an update once I know this is available.

Hi @HeathHill-WBC ,

We are currently working with LSSA on this and hope that we confirm the scope at the end of this week.

Good Morning Team,

Just further to the Residual Documents (NSW & SA):

1. is this enabling the lodgement of standalone Change of Name in NSW?

2. Which parties is this enabled for? (solicitor, financial institution etc?)

Hi @kennedsh,

Following this Release, the Change of Name can no longer be lodged as Temporary COVID-19 BCP instrument.

NSWLRS require that the Change of Name (of a Proprietor on Title) is lodged by a subscriber that represents the Proprietor on Title requiring the registration.

Regards,

Thanh
