You can now easily identify whether the Workspace you have been invited to is a Transfer or Non-Transfer. This information is displayed on the Invitation screen and assists you in understanding the nature of the transaction prior to accepting the invitation.
To improve the integrity around Discharge Authorities, the ability to execute Discharge Authority forms is now restricted to certain roles.
The Discharge Authority Checklist has been enhanced so that only Subscribers in the roles of Incoming Mortgagee and Proprietor on Title can to select the Discharge Authority Send checkbox; and only Subscribers in the role of the Mortgagee on Title can select the Discharge Authority Received checkbox.
PEXA makes it easier for you to look up client details by making the Customer Account/Loan Number field mandatory.
When sending an invitation to a Mortgagee on Title, Incoming Mortgagee, or Source Funder, you are now required to enter a Customer Account/LoanNumber so that Financial Institutions can use this reference to locate their customer’s details. For all other roles, this information is optional.
Providing the Customer Account or Loan Number where it is available assists the Incoming Bank to locate the Customer’s details. It also increases the likelihood that the invitation will be accepted within guidelines and not impede settlement.
Note: If the Customer Account or Loan Number doesn’t exist, enter “N/A” and proceed to send invitation.
Members that use PEXA’s Registered Source Account to provide source funds into financial settlement will now be able to download a pre-populated Source Account Deposit Form directly from PEXA immediately after adding their line item.
In Release 7.1, a number of exclusions were applied to Victorian Workspaces. In this release, we’ve reduced the number of exclusions so that you can run Secondary Lodgement Verification on more Workspaces.
Exclusions are now:
The CT Controller has not signed a document in the lodgement case.
In Release 7.1, PEXA re-enabled email notifications resulting from positive Title Activity Checks (TACs) in WA. Due to the overlapping nature of TACs in WA, any activity on title will result in the multiple positive TACs and therefore multiple email notifications.
From this release onwards, PEXA suppresses positive TAC email notifications resulting from duplicate activity.
Note (i): No changes are made to the TAC section of the Land Titles screen. Note (ii): Positives TACs received on day of settlement (any activity on title in the last 14 days) will still require participants to enter the Workspace and elect to proceed with settlement.
