Release 4.0.1 (maintenance release) of the PEXA Platform is scheduled for go live 4 July 2016.
This release focuses on a number of minor improvements, as well as implementing two new larger enhancements: • Provide the ability for subscribers to send automated notifications to a real estate agent following the successful completion of a settlement in PEXA • Reword the questions proposed on the Nomination screen to help avoid any confusion
Send automated notifications to a real estate agent
Currently, when a transfer transaction settles, a vendor’s representative sends a notification, usually via email, to the Real Estate Agent indicating that settlement has occurred, which then triggers activities, such as releasing keys or deposit funds.
The PEXA Platform can now automatically send an email to the real estate agent on successful settlement for you. This removes the manual step of sending the email, directly reducing the workload for subscriber’s representing the vendor. In order to have notification generate from PEXA for you, all you need to do is simply follow the below steps when preparing your workspace:
Navigate to the Property Information screen (available for subscribers in the role of Proprietor on Title)
In the Real Estate Agent Notification section, click Edit
Enter the email address of the real estate agent for them to receive an automated email following successful completion of your transfer.

Reword the questions on the nomination screen
A Nomination document is an authorisation document required by the Victorian Land Registry. Nominations provide permission for a party or parties to transact with a land title.
Based on industry feedback, the questions proposed on the Nomination screen have been simplified to help avoid any confusion. We have now restructured the questions asked when preparing a nomination to simplify the process. You will now be presented with the following questions:
Where are you authorising this title to be used? • This PEXA workspace, or • Paper instrument
Is the title currently paper? • Yes • No
Do you wish to retain control of the title after the transaction? • Yes • No
