With each new release you'll have access to new or improved functionality in the PEXA platform; on average we have a new release every few months. The latest release of PEXA was in November 2016, where we introduced Simultaneous Settlements, Priority Notices for NSW and VIC, improvements to the usability of the platform and much more! You can read about Release 5 in detail here.
In this week's video Anna chats to PEXA's general manager of delivery, Simon Bray (@SBray), about how Community feedback impacts what functionality we create for new releases of PEXA.
Simon also touches on how much work goes into a new release of the PEXA platform and how many people are involved.
In the last Vlog for the year, myself and Anna take a look back on 2016 in the Community and celebrate the industry coming together to learn, problem solve and share their idea’s and experiences with e-Conveyancing.
We'll be back with the Vlog in the New Year, until then, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

PEXA works closely with the network across Australia to assist with the transition to e-Conveyancing. In doing so, many suggestions and ideas have been shared as to how we can enhance the e-Conveyancing experience. Across Australia, we have received feedback suggesting that a tool to help you identify which of your matters are eligible for PEXA would be really helpful.
Based on this feedback, we have developed the PEXA Qualifier, an online tool which you can use to easily identify which of your files may be eligible for e-Conveyancing.
@Ames (making her video debut!) and myself have put together a short demo of the tool below
The PEXA Qualifier is a free online tool which you can access at any time. To identify whether you can complete your files through PEXA, you’ll be asked to provide some basic information about your file. PEXA Qualifier will let you know:
Follow these steps to check the eligibility of your file:
Visit pexa.com.au/qualifier-tool to start checking your files, or read the PEXA Qualifier how to article.

Have you been wondering what makes for a good Community experience? Wait no longer, I'm sharing 3 top things you can do to get involved in the e-Conveyancing Community!
They say a picture is worth a 1000 thousand words, and this is also true in Communities. A profile picture helps express to others that yes you are a real person! As we move online, it can be harder to maintain those real life connections and interactions, but pictures allow us to recognise and relate to each other that much easier. You can quickly identify who you're talking with and see who's online at a glance!
If you haven't yet included your profile picture, here's how to do it:
Show your fellow community members where you're from and your background in conveyancing. You can even include your region, and what you're in the community for! Do you want to connect with others in your area? Are you interested in what happens in the world of e-Conveyancing? Maybe even a little bit about yourself...do you have a love for cheesecake? That sure is a weakness of mine .
Adding a bio is simple, just follow the instructions below:
Each week on the Weekly blog, we'll be posting content including Community news, and short video blogs. And each time there is a release we will post up in the Product Release blog a few weeks before with what you can expect.
We've made it super easy for you to make sure you never miss out on an announcement! When you subscribe to a blog, you'll be notified each time there is a new post. Head to the blog you're interested in, select the Blog Options dropdown and then Subscribe. And that's all there is to it!
