Why is it needed to allow these 3rd party trackers for posting and liking?

Hehe no, not the Russians; addthis runs the social sharing buttons that pop up on the right hand panel of posts. It enables easy sharing of posts via email and social media platforms. Not many people use it but it's one of those nice to haves that hopefully make things easier for people when and if they do want to use it.

Google Tag Manager is used for Community analytics, it enables us to see things like the number of Page Views and Unique Visitors we get. We use these and other things as a measure of the health of Community, it also helps us talk about the importance of Community to our Members, when presenting to our colleagues.
Marketo is used to e-mail members and set up landing pages, if we include links to places like the Help Centre or the Webinar page in Community it helps us measure the effectiveness of those campaigns. For example, if we send out an e-mail to people and no-one clicks on the links, we know that we need to try something different.
