NSW LRS Announce additional fees
NSW LRS have announced they will be charging additional lodgment fees in certain scenarios. Where additional fees apply, the practitioner will be invoiced post settlement. Please note: The additional fees will not be populated in PEXA or collected by PEXA. The standard lodgment fees will still be populated in the Financial Settlement Schedule as per usual, via the Lodgment Verification Process.
The new fee arrangements can be reviewed on the NSW LRS website here. Please take a moment to review them to ensure you and your client understand the new arrangements.

Just wanted to confirm if this was still the case or if the logic was built in to calculate the correct lodgement fees?

Hi @JackCave ,
Yes this is still the process being followed with an invoice being issued post transaction where/if applicable.

This appears to be minimal impact to PEXA Transactions, as the impacted fees are related to additional charges where a Document affects more than 1 interest.
They will charge the single fee through PEXA and then seek the additional fees outside of PEXA (when applicable).
The only impacted document type in PEXA would be Discharge of Mortgage (where multiple Mortgages can be discharged in the 1 Discharge document).
Withdrawal of Caveat in PEXA requires a separate WC for each Caveat being Withdrawn. So no impact in this regard.
Hope this helps.
