In a move to make the transition to electronic conveyancing as seamless as possible for practitioners, certain Councils in NSW have started to put their B-Pay biller code and reference numbers on their section 603 certificates. This in turn saves a practitioner the time needed to phone the council to obtain this information on each transaction. In the past week both Camden Council and Wollondilly Council have started incorporating this information on their 603 Certificates, following in the footsteps of the Mid-North Coast Council and the Hill's Shire Council here in NSW. Hopefully, with many more to come.
Re: Councils start to embrace electronic conveyancing
Another step in the digital journey, great to see many local councils adjusting their processes to meet the needs of our customers. Another time saver when transacting electronically. Look forward to seeing many more councils embracing the change!
