Due to the absence of security features on all Certificates of Title issued prior to 1 January 2004, unencumbered non-CAC titles must be produced at the NSWLRS Production Counter before completing a PEXA transaction. This is an NSWLRS requirement to confirm the authenticity of the title.
Thanks to NSWLRS, this process has never been easier! NSWLRS announced a new simplified process commencing 28 November 2016:
For more information, please see the NSWLRS website, contact your PEXA Direct Specialist, or contact me via this forum!

Hi,
Has anyone tried mailing the Certificate of Title and Production receipt form directly to the LPI?
We're about 900 km away, and the alternative is to mail the documents to our Agent to hand in (for a fee).
Cheers.

Note we are no longer able to produce titles to NSW Land Registry Services on behalf of practitioners.
Hi Barry,
Feel free to send them to me via express post and I'll take them down to the LPI for you. As this is an interim issue that will go away once everything is electronic, we are happy to help out so you can avoid the agent fee:
cheers

Yes excellent @TJ and @denniswong. This is indeed the new url for the form. Dennis we are no longer able to complete title productions (due to the volume we are receiving) and we have moved office just last week so best not to post a title to us for production. Would advise engaging an agent to produce it on your behalf, same form applies. Remember to put all incoming dealings on the form eg transfer and to whom, mortgage and to whom.

Hi Belinda,
I have the same issue with a title from 1998. We are in Northern NSW and would like this matter to settle via PEXA. Am I able to express post the title to you as per the above? I was directed to this thread from the PEXA support team. Settlement is due 10 December 2018, is that too short a time frame? the alternative is to of course do a paper settlement locally. thank you

Hi @Emilytrotman,
Unfortunately we are unable to produce titles on behalf of practitioners. This change came into play a few months ago. However, the "no-charge" still applies for producing the title, so you would just need to pay an agent for the production.
So sorry we are unable to support this service moving forward.
cheers
Belinda
