How's this for a nice little "gotcha" perpetrated by a well-known conveyancing franchise in Victoria upon unsuspecting purchasers and their legal representatives. In most cases no-one is aware of the requirement for the purchaser to pay the vendor's PEXA fee until a cranky phonecall from the con-veyancer con-cerned (who clearly finds it annoying to have to deal with expressions of disgust from the victim's side of the transaction).
Will it become part of a new standard form contract one day?

I wonder if it breaches any of PEXA's Ts & Cs, given that it may give purchasers the impression that PEXA may be something best avoided?
