The team at Tuckfields have been kicking goals recently and have successfully become the State’s number 1 transactor for the month of June, our busiest month to date.
Tuckfields were early adopters of PEXA in South Australia and have been working closely with both PEXA and their peers to successfully roll out electronic settlements to their practice. Matthew Kelly from PEXA has been meeting with the team on a regular basis to support them through the transition from paper to electronic and to assist the firm to manage the change as smoothly as possible. Early adoption of PEXA to their office has meant that they have had the time to trial different office procedures, see what works and get it right. This will help them to stay ahead of the curve as more and more firms begin to adopt PEXA as the preferred method of settlement.
In addition to early adoption, Tuckfields’ CEO, Tammy Edwards has also been proactive by approaching other top PEXA transactors to see what processes and policies work in other offices and areas of the industry. This has meant that Tammy has been able to gather experience from other offices and tailor procedures and workflow that works best for Tuckfields. This has been a great example of how the industry can work together for a better outcome for all of our members. Tammy has said “while many of our colleagues are nervous about settling property electronically, Tuckfields see this as a positive move for our industry. We thrive on innovation and we have seen many benefits of settling electronically. With the inevitable mandating in South Australia fast approaching, the best way forward is to embrace the changes and learn and grow together while still remaining vigilant”
As well as their head office in Adelaide, Tuckfields opened a regional office at 25 Taylor Street Kadina. The introduction of electronically settlements has aligned with their vision to expand their services to the regional areas of South Australia. With PEXA’s assistance, offering faster access to clear funds and more flexibility for regional offices, we hope to be able to work together to provide an excellent service for the people of the Yorke Peninsula, working with other Yorke Peninsula firms who are already regular PEXA transactors.
We would like to congratulate Tuckfields on a job well done and we look forward to continued success together.
