PEXA's Release 7, which is being deployed this weekend, is particularly exciting for Victorian practitioners, as it will introduce the ability to complete and lodge standalone survivorships electronically in Victoria.
From February 2018 (PEXA's Release 7.1), we will be making an update that will support the creation of a Survivorship with a Transfer document within the same workspace, however, until then you will need to create a separate Survivorship workspace, in advance of the Transfer workspace.
PEXA has been working closely with Land Use Victoria to continue expanding the scope of transaction types that can be completed electronically for Victorian practitioners. As we continue progressing with the industry goal of achieving 100% digital conveyancing, we’ll see more transactions become available for practitioners to complete online in the lead up to 1 August 2019, when all instruments in Victoria will need to be lodged electronically.
We have a how-to guide to assist you with lodging a Survivorship – click here to check it out.
