Hi all,
Over the weekend (12th Dec) we had a minor release in PEXA. As part of this release we introduced improvements to the PEXA email notifications based on feedback received from you! For more details on what's changed for email notifications, refer to PEXA Release 5.0.1 - 12 December 2016.
Thanks for everyone who took the time to share your feedback on this and I'd like to say a special thanks to the following firms for your input.
Thanks again!
Marty, Product Owner Practitioner Services PEXA

It is great to see Practitioners providing feedback on the PEXA system and shows that PEXA is listening to the Community!

Hi @Marty
Thanks for your work previously in cleaning up email notifications. I note we still get bombarded with emails (47 for our advances workgroup yesterday and we're only little fish).
Most are legitimate but I do notice we get an email notification for every "Financial Line Item"created (e.g. 3 for a NAB refinance plus a conversation notification, and 3 emails for a CBA refinance). Can we reduce the number of Financial Line Item emails in any way?
Regards
Baz....

Hi @BGoodwin,
Thanks for the feedback. I'll see if this one has somehow flown under the radar or is meant to be sent.
If the latter, I'll question its usefulness.
Thanks,
Martin

Hi @BGoodwin,
As discussed offline, these particular notifications are triggered when a Mortgagee on Title enters a Payout Figure in the Financial Settlement.
Email subject: [Workspace reference] - Action Required: Payout Figure has been entered for Financial Settlement
These are working as expected. The idea behind them is that you, as the Incoming Mortgagee, should be notified when the Mortgagee on Title has entered their Payout Figure, so that you can then go into the workspace and match their Payout Figure with Loan Proceeds. Some subscribers rely on this as a trigger to enter the Loan Proceeds.
Some banks seem to be entering multiple Payout Figure line items. This is resulting in multiple Payout Figure notifications. We could look at aggregating these in the future. But for the time being we'll stick to the one-for-one approach.
Thanks,
Marty
