Welcome to Orange NSW, where PEXA members are embracing digital property transactions
Yesterday I had the pleasure of hitting the road with our PEXA Direct Specialist @HelenBenge, visiting our PEXA members in Orange. Whilst the day began with a very small plane, a very bumpy landing and a lost suitcase it certainly ended on a high after meeting so many excited PEXA members.
We started the morning with the team at Rickards Whitely Lawyers, where we were welcomed into their office with open arms and pecan pie. Monique whizzed her way around the system like an expert and Helen quizzed the team to ensure they were all retaining the knowledge imparted over the last few months. I am always so impressed with the relationships our Specialists build with our customers and yesterday was no different when I saw Helen whip out a Birthday card for one of the Richards Whitely team members.
Lunch we shared with 30 plus PEXA members from across Orange and surrounding areas, this is a great opportunity for our members to share their PEXA experiences and for me to thank them for leading the industry through this digital transformation. Helen also presented two firms with their PEXA Certification, acknowledgement that these firms are now competent and more than ready to transact electronically. Congratulations to Baldock Stacy & Niven and DKD Conveyancing on receiving your PEXA Certification, you should be very proud of your PEXA accomplishments.
The afternoon flew by with a visit to Baldock Stacy & Niven to demonstrate our new PEXA Projects functionality and then to Essen Conveyancing to assist with preparation for two upcoming PEXA settlements. Lots of busy practitioners and busyfirms in Orange, I am starting to notice a real reduction in the amount of paper in practitioners offices, good sign!
What I took away from yesterday: 1. PEXA members in Orange want all their peers to get on board so everyone can settle more and more deals electronically. 2. What a critical role Helen has played in getting this area up and running. 3. How much everyone loves our member support team, just a phone call away and a wealth of knowledge 4. PEXA members are keen to drive industry transformation and are ready and willing to support each other
