Hello!

 

Given the rapid response required to combat the spread of COVID-19 and recommendations from industry and government bodies to settle all eligible property transactions digitally where possible, the following information provides specific guidance on moving settlements from paper to PEXA:

 

Banks have well-established processes to convert inflight paper settlements to PEXA and will do their utmost to settle in a timely manner. The following will assist this process:

 

  1. Customer Account / Loan Number:
    • please provide banks reference number
  2. Invitation “Notes”:
    • If converting paper booking to PEXA – include “Paper booking reference”
    • Add any additional instructions e.g. simultaneous settlement
  3. Specific bank settlement support:
    • Once invite has been accepted, use “PEXA Conversations”. This is the most efficient option to communicate with the banks settlement teams.

To minimise the risk of disruption to your clients in this period, it is recomended that any future settlement booking be done electronically in line with AICSA and ORG advice.
