Hi. Can a Subscriber acting for a mortgagee, lodge a change of name (change of company name) for the mortgagor at a refinance settlement via PEXA?

Hi @Sarah2 

When completing any document in PEXA, the Subscriber needs to hold the appropriate authority (Client Authorisation Form) from the party you are lodging the document on behalf of.

In the example below, I presume you would hold a CAF for the mortgagee, but not for the current Proprietor on Title, whom you would need to lodged the Change of Name document on behalf of. If you hold a CAF from both parties to lodge the required documents, then you can complete the Change of Name as well as the Mortgage in PEXA - assuming you are comfortable with any potential conflicts of interest.
