Hi all
Quick tip, if the buyer and seller are working on finalising some pre-settlement items (good working order issues etc), you can set your workspace to "pending" which won't unsign your documents, but the matter won't settle until you change from "pending". It will show as Settlement not accepted, but allows you to resolve some pre-settlement issues without having to get parties to unsign and re-sign.

Great tip Ebony - a good time saver if everyone is on the same page.

Great Tip Eb =)
If you 'stop' settlement will push it to the next day so this is great to keep it in play while maintaining any bank Signings so you don't have to chase them again once you get the all clear to settle lol
Bril!

Cheers Ebony,
I find this really helpful if I am waiting for someone else to fulfill their obligations, but not wanting to delay fulfilling mine.

Does the workspace still retain its priority, by moving to pending? ie will a subscriber with outstanding tasks still get reminder messages/email about pending Settlement or will this likely result in a move their file to 'the back of the queue' since Settlement Date is effectively removed?
Also wondering, How soon can a pending workspace be set/booked to settle?

In case of interest, the Roll-over notices keep issuing till ALL work space parties either 'reset to pending' or remain 'Not Accepted' status.
