The property and mortgage industries in Western Australia are currently undertaking a significant period of transformation to paperless conveyancing.
Landgate has announced a comprehensive digital transformation timeline to transition property transactions from paper to electronic, allowing legal and conveyancing firms in Western Australia to efficiently complete online property exchange with speed, accuracy and efficiency.
From 1 December 2017, all eligible mortgages, discharges or mortgage and refinances must be completed electronically; and
From 1 May 2018, all eligible standalone transfer, caveats and withdrawal of caveats and any lodgement case consisting of eligible discharges, transfer, mortgages, caveats and withdrawal of caveat must be lodged electronically.
The WA Group is a place to learn, share and connect in the conveyancing and property business community focusing specifically on WA transformation to paperless conveyancing.
