Hi  I got a Surface Pro X signing today. The only issue was the Digital signing software that initially failed. i downloaded the alternative software. it still failed. i rebooted. played with the small app and after reregistering the certificate it worked. Perhaps it was because it was not a new usb. i was using Edge Canary. no problems at all. Success. ... View more

Yes - various aspects of the PEXA workspace documents are relying on other docs to be there in a sequence of events This is not always possible, so you may be the first one in there - and therefore it is only recognising you and your actions - so doing a CORD when there is no one to be on the receiving side will state the error.   This is similar when we create a Discharge of Mortgage in the workspace (or CORD)  We have Practitioners querying us why we have created the DOM and the Fees, when it is the Lodging party who needs to have it in their name to pay the Fees. At that point there is no document from the lodging party and therefore PEXA will allocate the fee in the first instance to the creator of the DOM (MOT doesn't create it or amend it as it is a locked down function) When the other party creates their Transfer or Mortgage and verified, then it moves to the correct owner and lodger in the system.  We also can have CORD errors too if we are the first creator of the DOM/CORD.   So one of the checks you can do if you get an error, what is the error related to, and if, all sequences being equal, have you prepared a document, that would normally rely on another party to also have created their docs. If you contact the other party to do their docs (if ready) as you need to check the error will go correct itself, you'll ensure there are not last minute problems.     regards Son ... View more

Hi @Ken_Shepherd. In response to the below, you can confirm via the land title look up that the title is available to transact electronically. The limitation on the title would remain and therefore you could proceed and settle electronically. You would need to deal with removal of the limitation, if required, via the normal paper procedure. ... View more

Hi @Ritz   You are able to continue to have an agent complete the duty assessment, but then remit payment via the PEXA workspace.   Still ensure that the payment will be made within the required Revenue NSW time frame.   When forwarding your documents for assessment, add a screen shot of the 'stamp duty' screen. This will provide the required reference for the Revenue NSW EDR system.   Further details can be found https://community.pexa.com.au/t5/Help-Centre/Stamp-Duty/ba-p/61   ... View more
