Hi @RGO,   Thank you for your question!   Due to the current limitations in scope here in QLD, unfortunately this cannot be done in PEXA due to the Lease aspect  of this transaction.   I have included our 'Transactions that can be done in PEXA - QLD' below that you may find helpful. But of course,  if you have any further questions or if there's anything else that I can assist you or your office with please feel free to get in touch.   https://community.pexa.com.au/t5/Queensland/Transactions-that-can-be-done-in-PEXA-QLD/gpm-p/15968    Thank  you, Daniel Arnfield daniel.arnfield@pexa.com.au 0499 555 643     ... With the current industry climate and change we’re seeing across the state, it’s wonderful to see members putting their hand up to share their experiences and journeys with their peers. It’s important to remember that we’re all on this journey together and over the coming months we will be sharing some Q&As from the network, discussing the current market trends, working in partnership with PEXA and the lessons learned along the way. This week we feature Craig Ray & Associates who are a Brisbane based firm located in The Gap. Craig Ray & Associates have been with us since 2015 and are what we would consider to be an early adopter of e-Conveyancing in Queensland. To date they have completed 100+ transactions and have been a strong advocate for PEXA, providing guidance to other firms new to the platform and proactively sharing feedback with us to help the member experience for all improve. I had the pleasure of speaking with Matthew Ray from Craig Ray & Associates – here’s his quick e-Conveyancing Q&A.   Have you had to adapt your working environment since COVID-19?   Yes, the nature of legal practice has changed significantly due to reduced face-to-face contact with clients, courts and other service providers. Staff working off-site has raised new challenges and opportunities also.   If so, how is your firm managing to stay connected and together?   Digital platforms for communication, such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom, have proved invaluable when keeping connected with clients and team members off-site.   How have you maintained connection and the relationship with your clients during this time?   Clients have been very understanding and appreciative of the changes to the lawyer-client relationship that has occurred because of the pandemic. We have maintained connection and relationship with clients through online appointments, limited face-to-face contact, and regular updates.   What’s your favourite help tool on community?   The Announcements page and QLD specific page are great resources to quickly check for updates and new ideas to make transacting on PEXA easier.   Why do you use PEXA Community?   So that I can keep a link with updates from PEXA about important announcements about the platform. It is also great to keep in touch with other legal practitioners about changes, challenges and issues they have encountered, and learn from a community of colleagues.     Keep an eye out for more member interviews in the weeks and months ahead – thanks to @MatthewRay  for sharing the insights and we hope you find these useful   ... Hi Community,   With the news a fortnight ago that the Land Registry was closing counters and accepting lodgements via post (with the preference that settlements moved online)  - Australia Post has advised they are experiencing delays. We have further been advised that many members have experienced delays with documents taking a long time to reach the lodgement counter via post.   To transition to digital to avoid delays in lodgement and registration you can find out more here.   Thanks! ... BOQ Trust Account Integration

Did you know that you can now integrate your Bank of Queensland Trust Account with PEXA?   The use of a Trust Account in PEXA allows lawyers and conveyancers to contribute funds to settlement on behalf of their client. When using your Trust Account for PEXA Settlements, practitioners have full visibility of the funds being made available for settlement; have the ability to verify funds at any time, and are able to provide funds for a Workspace as required for any role.   Previously, BOQ Trust Accounts were not capable of being integrated with PEXA, but now they can! If you have a BOQ Trust Account that you would like to link to your PEXA Account, contact your PEXA Direct Specialist who can provide you with the relevant forms and help you get it set up.   For more information about using trust accounts on PEXA, visit the e-Conveyancing Community. ... Hi @Andrew_GC    Thank you for joining the discussion!   As per my earlier response, this warning message will not prevent the lodgement and registration of any of the documents within a workspace.   The platform is identifying subtle differences between the information recorded on your profile from the PEXA registration and the information embedded onto your Digital Signing Certificate. These discrepancies could be as minor as spaces between letters, capital letters or recognizing the Business Name as oppose to the Legal Entity Name.   I am pleased to confirm that this issue will be resolved and the warning will no longer appear from June 2 2019.   if you have any questions or if you would like discuss this further please let me know.   Thank you.   Daniel ...
