Hi,   The price you quoted is for a multi-title transfer (single title transfer is still $ 112.6).   PEXA Pricing is adjusted only once a year (July) and any price increase is announced at least 20 working days prior to taking effect. The increase in fees between FY18-FY19 was linked to CPI (below 2%).   Regards, Thomas ... View more

Hi,   The re-supply fee ($5.50) is currently not charged by PEXA.    You can safely close the matter - you will not receive a bill from PEXA on this.   Regards, Thomas Hansen  ... View more

At present if a husband wishes to bring his wife onto the title of the matrimonial home we have to pay for 2 workspaces. Can this be joined together and clients only pay for 1 workspace fee? - @Maree1 We are currently working to improve PEXA pricing for related party dealings.  Provided the transfer consideration is 'Non-Monetary' and SRO returns $0 Duty, we will be pleased to refund the duplicated portion of the PEXA Fee. Please send me a direct message or contact support with the details of the workspace and we will investigate and respond to you. ... View more

Hi RamLaw,   We appreciate your frustration. We're still in the process of completing the 'related party' instrument (currently only available in VIC) so you've set-up the transaction correctly. Until the 'related party' instrument is available we will refund one of the transfer fees. Please contact your PEXA Direct Specialist to arrange refund.    Apologies for the inconvenience  Thomas Hansen ... View more

Hi makita09,   Yes, it is possible to do non-monetary transfer in PEXA. You will still need to organise a financial settlement workspace and while you wont have consideration there will be PEXA fee, lodgement fee and stamp duty (if applicable).   In some States there may also be requirement for written agreement. Hope that helps.     Regards, Thomas    ... View more

Hi makita09, thanks for your note.    As you've noted, the property is currently held jointly, so the scenario you describe is correct, if A and B are represented by separate Subscribers. In NSW there is an option for a part tenancy transfer, where the proprietors hold their shares in common. Refer to Part Tenancy Transfer.   Where the property is jointly held, if both A and B jointly instructed a Subscriber as proprietors on title (transferor), there would be one PEXA fee payable in the transferor role and one payable in the transferee role.   Hope this helps. ... Hi @PhaedonosLaw   Thanks for your note. It sounds like the proprietors and transferees are the same for both titles so you can set-up a transfer for both titles, where:     [Title A + Title B] are transferred from A+B+C+D+E to C+D+E.   In that case you should set your Workspace up in the role of proprietor on title, representing A, B, C, D, E.   Because you are only one Subscriber, your collective clients will pay one fee of $129.03 in the proprietor on title role. Additional fees would be payable if the parties had different representatives (one per Subscriber in the role).   You can then complete the transfer using guidance found here [insert hyperlink: https://community.pexa.com.au/t5/Help-Centre/Part-Tenancy-Transfers-VIC/ba-p/7311 ]   This solution works for Victorian transfers. The answer may not be suitable in other jurisdictions.   If I've incorrectly understood the details of the transaction, please let me know and I can provide a revised response.   Thomas Hansen ...
