Hi @JodieS,   In Release 10.1.0, we'll be adding a new feature to allow you to link workspaces to simultaneously settle at the same time without the need to move funds between the two workspaces.   A checkbox will be available for you to indicate whether you'd like to link workspaces for simultaneous settlement without funds flow and once checked, a simultaneous linked line item with $0.00 can be created.  The link will behave the same way as a simultaneous line item (i.e. you'll still need to accept the link request in the other workspace).   These workspaces will only initiate settlement once all workspaces are 'Ready' at the scheduled settlement date and time.   ... Hey @Morvanna ,   If the account number entered is 10 digits and the account number starts with a zero, then PEXA will automatically remove the zero from the line item and save the account number with 9 digits.   E.g. If the account number entered was 0012345678, then 012345678 is saved as the account number in PEXA.   Cheers, Doug   ... View more

How many times will a workspace rollover before the settlement fails? - Tracey Adamczyk This depends on the jurisdiction.  Workspaces will continue to reschedule up until: VIC - 5:00PM AEST/AEDT NSW - 5:00PM AEST/AEDT QLD - 4:00PM AEST SA - 4:30PM ACST/ACDT WA - 3:00 AWST (during AEST) and 2:00PM AWST (During AEDT) If the workspaces are not ready by the time above, settlement will fail.   When a workspace rolls over, will it skip a 30 minute slot if that slot is full already? - @TalithaK Yes, if the slot is full, the workspace will move the next available timeslot.  E.g. If the workspace is not Ready at 12:00PM and 12:30PM slot was full, the workspace would move to 1:00PM.   When you have linked settlements is there a way to click direct to the workspace without going out of the current workspace and finding the linked one? - @NicoleHayes Depending on the type of transacton you want to complete there are walk thrus available from the orange Help widget and also on some of the document screens. See our community site to see what Walk Thru's are currently available and how you can access them.   Can you link settlements (not financially linked) acting for proprietors on title?  For example, where you act for a number of proprietors and the Contracts have an interdependency clause - ie. they must settle at the same time. - @alioeding This is a future enhancement that we're currently looking into to allow practitioners to link workspaces to settle simultaneously without funds flow required between the different workspaces.   Why was the sequential settlement deleted? - Elizabeth Ladbury This feature was used infrequently, so by removing this feature, it enables PEXA to deliver other enhancements that'll better serve the network.   How do you link a sale and purchase workspace? - Susan Gale-Phillips You'll be able to use a Simultaneous Settlement set-up to direct funds from the sale of a property to the purchase of the next (provided you're representing both parties in each workspace).  This can be done via 'Add Destination' and then selecting the category 'Linked Financial Settlement'. ... Hi @pcurraey,   The minimum payment amount varies based on each individual BPay Biller Code.   For Sydney Water (45435), $1.00 is the minimum payment amount that is being returned from their rules that have been loaded into PEXA. This is the reason as to why the destination line item cannot be created for $0.63.   Cheers, Doug ... View more

Hi @Susan77,   Currently, you're only able to link workspaces of which you are a Participant.    We are looking at expanding the linked settlement capability to allow links across different firms in the near future.   Thanks, Doug   ... View more

Hey @carlfortu,   Are you able to confirm whether there were leading zeros in front of the account number?   The reason I ask is because we've conformed to validation as per the major financial institutions, which only allow nine digit account numbers (aligning to their Internet Banking channels).   Cheers, Doug ... Hey @RyanC,   As part of R7.0.1, we've made an update on the Associated Subscriber drop down list to now display the subscriber's trading name rather than their legal entity name.  This should make it clearer for our members when selecting the other participant in the workspace:       Cheers, Doug ... Hi @Gibbslawyers,   If you're referring to allowing funds to be sourced from the PEXA Source Account, then that has not yet been implemented.   Once we've scheduled it into a release, we'll be able to come back to you with dates.   Thanks, Doug   ... View more

Hi @TW,   It's used to display just the adjustments (so "+957.80"): Where the value entered is positive, it displays "Net Adjustments (Purchaser Owes)" Where the value entered is negative, it displays "Net Adjustments (Vendor Allows)"   Thanks, Doug ... View more

Hi Sonja,   This is similar Pauline's suggestion for updating the PEXA source account to allow funds to provided for a PEXA settlement for roles other than the Incoming Proprietor.  We are looking into a change to allow you to provide source funds when the Proprietor on Title requires additional funds to cover a shortfall.   We'll keep you posted on when we get this scheduled into a release.   Thanks, Doug ... Hi Pauline,   We've started looking at updating the PEXA source account to allow you to provide funds into a PEXA settlement for roles other than the Incoming Proprietor. This will then allow you to provide source funds where you're representing a private mortgage in the role of Incoming Mortgagee. The account will also be expanded to also allow you to provide source funds when the Proprietor on Title requires additional funds to discharge their mortgage.   We'll keep you posted on when we get this scheduled into a release.   Thanks, Doug ... Hi @AaronG,   As part of Release 6.1.1, we've made a quick change to the help text for the Transaction Description field to display as  "This will appear on the destination account statement".  This aligns it with the existing message when other categories are selected (e.g. Vendor's Funds).   It's been updated for the following destination categories when Bank Transfer is selected: Body Corporate Fees, Council Rates, Third Party Beneficiary, and Water Rates   Cheers, Doug ... Hi Michelle,   As most financial institutions limit on the account name length, we've taken the same account length restriction as some of these major FIs.  We can look into getting this field length increased in the near future.   Please note that most financial institutions do not perform validation on the account name, so shortening or abbreviating in the meantime will not impact your transaction.  Just make sure that the BSB and account number have been correctly entered.   Cheers, Doug ...
