Hi, my name is Rimmy and I am the Settlement Support Specialist for QLD. Over my last 3 years at PEXA I have had the pleasure of working with our members across New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland.
10 months ago, I joined the QLD PEXA Team, dedicating my time to our amazing QLD members and I love supporting the QLD market’s transition to digital.
As a Settlement Support Specialist, my focus is to ensure your settlements proceed smoothly on PEXA. I proactively monitor daily settlements to assist with:
Settlements occurring in a timely manner/on the day of settlement
Ensuring any workspace issues are raised with our technical team
Coordination with teams, both internal & external for any escalations, prioritisations & feedback
Overall day of settlement support
And most importantly, assisting to ensure that our Practitioners feel confident and supported
Settlement preparation is key to ensure a smooth settlement (and knowledge is power!) – here are my top 6 tips to ensure a smooth settlement;

Ensuring documents are prepared well before the settlement date
For Purchases that the Total Funds Required to Settle to be added by the day before or first thing on the morning of settlement
Uploading documents, for example Discharge Authority or any documents relevant to the workspace via Files tab – to ensure they are not lost in emails.
Ensuring all communication is through workspace Conversations
