Hi i have requested NAB discharge a mortgage on the platform to speed the matter up.  they have advised that    "It is currently a paper title, so we cannot change to a non issue title Please check with Landgate at to rules and what is required to change it I believe there is a form that needs to be completed by the customer"   I believe that they can just select the non issue box in the lodgment instructions. HI Leah,   it will depend on a few factors including who your client banks with it can be anywhere from 15 minutes to 24 hours.  the timing of settlement can also change the length of time so it is so much better to try to settle prior to noon to have the best chance of funds being in your clients account prior to the end of business.  I have always had my funds in my trust account at the latest the end of the business day.   Just completed my first simultaneous settlement on PEXA and whilst it wasn't exactly straight forward with the two banks plucking figures out of their head and us having to hold their hands it was a great experience thanks to the team at CS Legal an Debbie from Mint settlements for making the experience possible. We could also upload statements to banks and other settlement agents would probably see them not required after settlement as long as there was a way of saving the attachments. ... View more

Hi I was wondering what the chances are of having the ability to upload documents, for example a discharge form directly into the workspace.     This would serve a couple of purposes: 1 ensure that the document is available to the workspace participant  2 save time in having to switch between programs to send informaiton.   Just a thought have a great day Chris  ... Hi I have now settled about 17 deals using the Pexa platform and love it.     Yesterday i had to contact support and i did this via the telephone which i found to be slow i waited 10 minutes to get through to someone i understand that this can happen but is none the less frustrating.   I have used the email service also which works well however i was thinking that if i could start a conversation via my workspace direct to support this would save me time as i would not have to change programs or enter details of the dealing i am having the issue with.   Just a thought. ... What a great way to spend an afternoon.   I love the freedom that the platform gives me I am not chained to my office desk I can conduct a settlement from any computer and even sign documents as long as I have a laptop with the program installed.  this is really changing my experience in settlements.  I have been in the industry since I was 16 nearly 40 years (now showing my age :-) ) electronic conveyancing has to be the biggest change I have embraced with the help of my PEXA specialist Fiona the transition has been painless, well as painless as any settlement can be.   Todays lunch was just more proof that electronic conveyancing should not be feared but embraced now before you are left behind and playing catch up.  It is inevitable  that this is the way of the future and at some point will be the only way to settle.   Settling on PEXA really frees us up to concentrate on the finer parts of the settlement process.  We have  more time to visit with our clients and provide a real service.   Thanks to PEXA and Fiona for making my transition relatively painless and for a lovely afternoon. ...
