we have just completed a settlement where a client of ours sold her property here in Melbourne and they purchased a property in Western Australia. having found a pexa settlement agent in WA who was happy to look after our clients purchase we arranged to settle the sale and purchase matters on the same day through pexa.   the sale matter settled here in Victoria at 11.00 our time and the purchase matter was scheduled for settlement at 12.30 (WA time) we had made arrangements for funds required for the WA settlement to be transferred from our sale matter to the conveyancing companies trust account , the transfer was received in the trust account within 45 mins of settlement here, ready for settlement in WA. Unfortunately a non pexa related issue arose and the matter did not settle until Monday morning at 9.30 am.   but how great is it to have two non related conveyancing companies embrace the use of pexa to settle matters in different states on the same day for the benefit of our mutual client.   Now imagine what that scenario would have been like in a paper world you would not have even attempted it. Big shout out to Nicole King from KDD conveyancing  over in WA , was a pleasure dealing with you on this matter and thanks for making it all happen   Peter Gajanovic ... View more
